The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. When a page is requested, Vercel processes the connection data required for delivery as a technical service provider, including IP address, time, requested URL, referrer and browser or operating- system information. This serves secure, reliable delivery and abuse prevention. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We do not run our own usage analytics or store these data in a separate database. Retention is governed by Vercel’s settings and policies. Processing outside the EU cannot be ruled out; see Vercel’s privacy policy for its recipients and safeguards.
Dough calculators
Inputs are sent to the server for the requested calculation and processed there immediately. pizzamadre does not create user accounts or a personal recipe database, and the calculators do not store your inputs in browser storage. Only when you deliberately choose “Copy link” does the generated link contain recipe values as visible URL parameters. Share such a link only with intended recipients, and do not enter personal data in freely named fields. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, as processing is required for the calculator you requested.
Contact
When you contact us by email or telephone, we process the information you provide and the communication data to handle your request. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the request is (pre-)contractual; otherwise it is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete requests once they have been fully handled, unless statutory retention obligations require otherwise.
Language preference
When you explicitly switch language, a technically necessary cookie named
pizzamadre-locale stores your choice for one year. On the first visit, the
language preference sent by your browser (Accept-Language) is also considered.
Both are used solely to deliver the appropriate language version. The legal
basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; storage of the technically necessary cookie is
permitted under Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG.
Cookies and analytics
pizzamadre uses no analytics, marketing or personalisation cookies and no usage analytics.
Your rights
Subject to legal requirements, you have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, as well as the right to complain to a competent data protection authority. Contact ciao@pizzamadre.de with privacy questions.
